Man | Ah, there it is. But it's about 50 kilometres from here. Well, let's go to the New Forest. That's very near. |
Woman | The New Forest? But where is it on the map? |

Clerk | Altea is near the sea. It's very quiet, about six kilometres from Benidorm. |
Customer | How far is it from Alicante? |
Clerk | About 80 kilometres. |
Caller | I'm in Southampton. Shall we meet tomorrow? |
Friend | Yes. But I'm in Winbome. |
Caller | Winbome? Where is that? |
Friend | It's 60 kilometres from Southampton. It's west of Southampton near Bournemouth. |
Caller | Well, if I set off at ten o'clock in the morning, I should be there by lunchtime. |
Friend | OK. |
1st Woman | I don't know where we're going on holiday this year. Where are you going? |
2nd Woman | Sardinia. |

Man | Yes, let's meet in the hotel. I' 11 wait in front of the reception desk near the door. |
1st Woman | Shall we meet later? |
2nd Woman | Yes. Let's meet in front of the Royal Hotel at three o'clock. |
1st Woman | Where is it? |
2nd Woman | It's in Castle Terrace near the post office. It's about ten minutes' walk from here. |
